Dr. Sarah Slack and her staff were professional and courteous to a fault. Not only was my appointment on time but they were accommodating and very sensitive to mine and my pets needs. They took the time to do a very thorough examination and explained every step. They went through all of the treatment options available to us and allowed me to decide the best course of action without any pressure.

They gave me the information I needed to make the right choice as well as layed out future treatment options for us all at a very reasonable cost to me. If you love your pets like I love mine, RUN don't walk to Beechnut Animal Hospital Sincerely Jason Kendall

The entire staff is so attentive and friendly! Patricia got the visit set up and took many notes. My only negative is that I have never been to a vet where I didn’t meet the actual doctor before the procedure was done. I asked to meet Dr. A. when I picked up my cat and she came out to the waiting area . I appreciated that but don’t think I should have had to request it. Another suggestion is to have separate spaces for cats and dogs. I realize space is at a premium but as a cat owner I appreciate being separated.

Starting from staff at front desk till I left the hospital, I had a very good overall experience. My dog is a very nervous and shy dog. Dr Slack and her assistant was very patient with my dog and helped calming her down. I went there to get help for two issues 1. my dog swallowed a piece of plastic, 2. My dog had eye conjunctivitis. Dr Slack diagnosed the issue and clearly explained the treatment plan.

I was let in and was allowed to stay inside throughout the treatment process. Also I appreciate doctor's assistant for taking time and answering all my questions. I would highly recommend Dr. Slack.

I cannot say enough good things about the staff at Beechnut Animal Hospital and the way they handle a crisis. My pup was hit by a car and the team was so amazing! They stabilized him and let me spend every minute with him, even going the extra mile to bring me a blanket to sit on the cold floor with him. They treated him like he was their own pup and explained everything they were doing every step of the way.

He had to be transferred and they coordinated the whole thing so the hospital had everything they needed when we got there. They were so wonderful, caring and compassionate. And my pup is gonna make it - no doubt because of their quick, efficient work.

I feel so fortunate to have found Beechnut. We started visiting them when my dog tore her ACL in 2015. The staff was incredible, the surgery was a great success and she recovered quickly. She is currently hospitalized with them, getting treatment for acute pancreatitis and kidney failure. I don't know if she is going to pull through, and it is awful.

But what I do know is that I wouldn't want to be going through this at any other place. Dr. Slack and Dr. Stone have been amazing, as has everyone else [extra shout-out to Ms. Patricia who has been with me each step of the way]. They are doing everything they can to turn things around while keeping my baby comfortable, and that is the only thing I could ask for. Thanks, y'all.

My dog has been to Beechnut a number of times over the years. I haven't always been able to go to them because we have moved around a lot but when I have they have always been the absolute best to both of us. Recently they helped her cross over to the next life and they were extremely kind, empathetic and compassionate to us both. I can't think them enough or recommend them highly enough for helping me through one of the hardest things I've ever had to do in my life.

I want to thank everyone. I have had great experiences with you guys taking care of all three of my female dogs since 2008. I moved away from area and have tried other vets. But I must say you are top of the line. Your prices are competitive. I will only let you guys do surgery on my animals. You give the best attentive care. My animals always seem to be happy. They are never nervous when they come or leave. Thank you thank you thank you. Job well done guys

Like the vets. Staff is very nice, BUT I wish they would wear masks in upsurges of COVID. It bothers me to be in such close quarters with so many people. I live with my 93 year old father and it's like navigating a mine field there when surges are high. I wait in my car, but still have to have close interactions with some of the unmasked employees. We've known six people to die of Covid, so this is not something I take lightly.

Very happy with Beechnut Animal Hospital. I was able to bring both cats in the day I called thanks to a cancellation. Dawn in reception was very personable and helpful; Julie the vet technician was kind and gentle with my 2 yo and 20 yo cats. Dr. Slack took time to discuss my concerns re: my elder kitty during the appointment and the next day when she called to discuss blood work results for my elder kitty. All-in-all, great service especially given how busy this practice appears to be. I'm very relieved to have found such a good veterinary home for my fur-babies.

Great service, Great staff. They treated my little Buddy with great care and respect he didn't even notice when they gave him his shot. Everyone was super nice and made us feel really welcome.

This place took really good care of our dog (emergency surgery). The staff and the vet (Dr. Keidra Carmen) were fantastic. I am very grateful for all they did. Highly Recommended!

Dr. Slack was very thorough in her recommendations. She offered options that were best for my particular cat. I have used the services at Beechnut Animal Hospital for many years with a number of cats. I have seen different veterinarians there and they have all been top notch. The vet technicians are great as well.

Awesome place! They truly do their best to provide a great service. Professional and cost mindful. Dr. Slack took her time to explain my dog's issues to us. Also, the front desk personnel as well as the vet tech were very helpful.

Our long time vet recently retired and I wanted a vet to care for our precious kitties the way my other vet cared. The entire staff at Beechnut from the vet, vet tech and receptionists are friendly, caring and helpful. I feel very much at home taking our precious family member kitties to Beechnut Animal Hospital - and it's much closer to our home.

They will work hard to help you. My dog was very sick for almost 2 weeks. His usual vet gave us a scary, vague, and (as it turns out) inaccurate cancer diagnosis. We sought out Beechnut Animal Hospital for a desperate second opinion because of all the amazing reviews posted online.

They were SPOT ON. He was fit in for an appointment the same morning we called. Just 2 days later, he’s feeling so much better with the right diagnosis and appropriate treatment thanks to Dr. Matt and everyone here. Incredible expertise. Wonderful customer service. Happy, happy dog.

Great service! My Frenchie had needed c-section surgery performed last minute after her original vet office was closed, they were able to squeeze her in ASAP and her surgery went excellent for her and the 6 pups. They made sure she was doing well along with checking on how well the pups were doing days after surgery as well.

The staff and Dr. Greg Matt are amazing! I will be changing vets because of my experience. (Daisy's regular vet could not see her until the next day & suggested I take her to an emergency clinic). This hospital was recommended by a friend. They were able to get me in the same day. They are very professional and provided estimates for the various options for treatment which was wonderful! Dr. Matt personally called the next day to see how she was doing! Highly recommend Beechnut Animal Hospital! 20 stars!

Outstanding staff from the front desk, to the technicians and the veterinarians!!! I highly recommend this clinic. They are AMAZING!!! This is the first time in years that I did not have to muzzle my dog when taking her to the vets!!!

Carlos and Dr. Matt are fantastic! They are across town from me...about a 45 minute drive...but worth driving! I had another vet recommend surgery for my 14.5 year old dog, but Dr. Matt takes everything into consideration, which I very much appreciate.
