I have been a client for over 20 years. I have had a few emergencies over the years, and they have been straight-forward with me as to what was wrong, the options, and the costs. I recently had another emergency. I had taken the cat to another vet over several months, and was not getting results or answers. The case suddenly (literally overnight) became urgent, and they got me in. Started different meds and when complications came up 10 days later, we decided on surgery now instead of "after 2 wks of meds". I knew the ballpark cost going in, and wasn't shocked when the bill was about $100 over. There were complications. I had added a couple things to have done while he was out.
Only one time in over 20yrs did I have a bad experience. That was about 2001-2002, when a tech working there at the time made sure everyone knew how unhappy she was to be working on a Saturday. I was there to board 2 rescue dogs there for 3 days. The tech took it upon herself to have her "friend who does rescue" claim my dogs and rehome them. The sme tech was upset when I showed up to pick them up, and I got a bill and was told the dogs were with a rescue. Um...no. I wasn't very nice or patient that day, and it was a mad scramble by her and her "friend" to return my dogs (one had already been supposedly adopted out by this other rescue). *I* was the rescuer that they belonged to, and my fosters always were labeled as "rescue" when they were at the vet, so staff was aware that a full medical/behavioral history was available - for safety reasons. I never did see that tech there after that day.
I am sure that not everyone is going to have positive experiences 100% of the time, no matter where they go. I have had far more good ones here though. If you come in belligerent and demanding, do not get bent when their patience starts to fray. All the patience in the world is no contest to some of the blow-hards I have seen come in and try to demand free services and cheaper prices for a variety of reasons.

We are huge fans of this veterinary clinic. All our animals are patients. They saved my little rescue pup who was diagnosed with Addison's disease six years ago. She is so healthy due to their care. They are compassionate, friendly and accommodating. Our whole extended family highly recommends this clinic and Dr. And Mrs.Singh. They are all rock stars in our books!

Professional, compassionate, caring staff which I highly recommend for any of your pet needs. I especially want to thank Dr. Singh for his amazing care for my daughter's dog name "Tripp" who had just got run over by a boat. The staff, along with Dr. Singh stopped everything and made a room for when my daughter got there with her dog. I can't thank you all enough for the care you gave "Tripp" in this emergency visit.

My daughter left the clinic and called me immediately and she was so happy and pleased that she got to take "Tripp" home with her. They gave her instructions on what to look for and what she needed to do during his healing process. Thank you all so much for saving my daughter's dog and taking the time out of your day to treat him.

Absolutely awful experience here. I signed a form stating that i would pay a specified amount (anything more they would have to consult me for it). When I came to pick my cat up afterwards they gave me a bill 50% more expensive than i agreed to (and signed for). They refused to work with me on payments even though they charged more than what i agreed to. they ended up keeping my cat for about a week (until payday) and charged per day due to this. i almost ended up having to pay twice how much i agreed to pay for.

They dont care at all. when my wife cam to pick him up they didnt even give her the information about what diet he should be on (they said he would have to be on a special diet), they also didnt want to talk to her and only handed her an estimate for surgery if we decided that route (like we would go through these people for anything else). Now we have to go to another vet to have them look at my cat and get the information we already paid this place for.

Professional and compassionate staff saved our dog! Our dog was stolen from our private yard, her collars/tags were removed, and she was taken an hour from our house to Beaver Dam. The staff and doctors at the Beaver Dam Vet Clinic were professional and quick witted enough to suspect that something didn't add up when a new golden retriever was brought in to them for a check up, and after scanning her for a microchip were able to track us down and contact us that our lost/stolen dog had been found!

We are so grateful for their quick thinking, the care they gave our dog while she was with them, and their compassion that got her back to us so quickly. The facilities aren't sparkling new but they are clean, and clearly the people working there love animals! Cannot thank them enough!

Want to take this time to thank Dr. Singh and staff for the care they gave our lab Blaze for the last 4 yrs of his life, Blaze was diagnosed with a spinal disorder 14 months ago and needed help getting in and out of a vehicle, the staff was always more than willing to come outside to help, Dr. Singh even came out to our vehicle to preform treatments on Blaze, He even made an after hours emergency call for us, Our family recommends The Beaver Dam Vet Clinic for all your pet care need. Thank you very much!

We've gone to this vet for the past 19 yrs and have never had problems with them. Jackie's our favorite of the 2 Drs. Our dog likes her and so do our cats.

We started taking our new puppy here. So far they have been amazing to get us in when we need to. They have patience and listen to you and explain what's going on so you understand everything. Yes the place is a little older. But it's not lacking care. They truly do care. If you have questions the vet himself actually calls and talks to you. They are affordable too.

Only negative thing I noticed (and I understand they are busy and people should pick up after their own dogs. ) is the yard needs to be picked up of waste. Otherwise great experience so far.

Don't need to go into details. For me this vet simply did not meet my standards. Others see them as wonderful. Point is do your reasirch and visit the facility prior to making an appointment. Trust your instincts!

I am honestly extremely shocked at the bad reviews. We take both our cats and our two dogs there (since they were young puppies) AND our rats there. They have taken in our rats to be put down in an emergency when no one else would. They have even told us "we can treat the rats for basic things but if it is something more, they will need a specialist, " which is exactly what they should be saying if they feel they are not qualified for exotic pets.

They are kind, compassionate and they care so much about our pets. They have treated our pets again and again like family and have always been such wonderful people. Their prices are so reasonable, as well. I have nothing but great things to say about them!

I took my sick animal there and they miss Diagnosed her 3 times. Made us give her medication for what they miss Diagnosed her with. They only guessed at what was wrong with her without any actual proof as to why they thought this way. Afterwards they kept her and drew blood but their vet techs didn't send it in when they said they were going too. So it was like 3 weeks late.

Plus they didn't actually test for everything they said they did. And they did not xray her correctly. If they did they would've seen the cancer and we wouldn't of suffered for a month on the promise that she would get better. Plus on the day we had to put her down the vet himself miss gendered her and caussually said "yeah it looks like cancer". They are unreliable and only care about money.

They have no compassion for animals. Or their family's. Do not trust. All of the suffering would've been avoided completely if they did their job. And the day we put her down I was walking out and the little desk clerk person asked me if I wanted a garbage bag for my dead animal who I was holding. So unprofessional and sick
