  • I would recommend this business

Dr. Stevenson and Dr. Newett have been treating my geriatric cat for several years and have been spot on with her treatment. Besides old age and having kidney disease, all the care she has gotten keeps her a happy cat. As she prepares for her 22nd birthday, I know she would not be here if not for the wonderful care she has received. Would not take her anywhere else and recommend to anyone wanting compassionate CAT care.

Dr. Stevenson and the vet staff are always very friendly and helpful. They always answer any questions I have, even if its a phone call regarding our pets. Our dog is always excited to see the staff, which is always a good thing, considering she gets shots almost every time she goes.

From Our Website

Choosing a veterinarian often comes down to trust, and we honor the faith pet parents put in us by striving to improve our practice in ways both big and small. Since veterinary medicine is a dynamic science, our staff and veterinarians are constantly working to build on their expertise and knowledge base for the benefit of your best friends. Our goal is to give you and your animal companions as many happy, healthy years together as possible. That means focusing our care on the individual and listening carefully to every pet parent who comes through our doors.

Our hospital motto is "Small hospital community with large hospital standards". What that means is that we dearly value each and every individual relationship that we have with our clients and their four-legged children, but we also hold very high standards and will strive to always recommend what is best for your pet. We will continue to make recommendations when we feel it is necessary but ultimately your pets level of care is your choice. Bear Valley Veterinary Care Center is a Christian-owned business.

Bear Valley Veterinary Care Center recommends bringing pets to wellness exams every 6 months. Physical exams are important for keeping pets healthy, as these visits allow us to track a pet's health closely and detect and prevent disease early. Keeping your pet as healthy as possible is a partnership between you, the pet owner, and your Bear Valley Veterinary Care Center veterinarian. Frequent visits allow us to discuss recent changes in your pet's health, detect potential problems, tailor diagnostic recommendations and initiate therapy that will benefit your pet.

Our mission is to provide a caring, safe and comfortable home away from home while offering veterinary support and a fun experience for your animal companion. Does your dog or cat need a place to stay while you're away? We offer pet boarding at Bear Valley Veterinary Care Center! Whether you're going away for the weekend or for a longer vacation, the boarding staff at our Denver hospital has you and your pet covered. For small additional fees, you can take full advantage of your dog's stay at Bear Valley Veterinary Care Center with extra treats.

The Veterinary Dental Society reports that 80% of dogs and 70% of cats over the age of three suffer from dental disease. Oral disease is the most common and most preventable disease found in our furry children, and prevention can add 3 to 5 years to a pet's life! That's because dental disease manifests in more ways than just dirty teeth and bad breath. It can cause severe health complications to major internal organs, including heart disease, organ damage and septicemia. You can prevent dental disease in your pet with routine dental care at home and with professional dental cleanings at Bear Valley Veterinary Care Center.

Laser therapy is an innovative technology used to treat acute and chronic injuries in pets. This noninvasive treatment stimulates cell regeneration by increasing blood flow to an injured area. Laser therapy is typically used in veterinary medicine to accelerate the healing process following surgery, alleviate joint pain and treat degenerative diseases. Bear Valley Veterinary Care Center is proud to offer this great treatment option to our pet patients. Low-level, also known as cold, laser therapy focuses red and infrared light on tissue at and below the surface of the skin.
