Our appointment was rescheduled for a earlier time which was appreciated. Our Bassett Sadie was having digestion problems. We arrived and were quickly checked in and moved into a examination room where George one of the technicians discussed with us what was happening with Sadie. He interacted with Sadie and thought it was a case of eating leaves and grass.

He took notes and left to review them with the Doctor. The entire staff from Doctors to intake staff are kind, sensitive and thorough. We enjoy our visits and are very happy with the care Sadie receives and important it is to everyone at BVAH to make sure the care and treatment our Sadie as well as her Humans get and the clear communication delivered by all. Congratulations Bear Valley we love you and Sadie says Thanks also!

Amazing staff and team. Would highly recommend if you're pet is in need or just needs a well care check up. Staff and team actually care about you and your pet. Helped out my family when in need and saved our Dog. So grateful for there help and giving us a chance to spend more time with Fatboy he is a big part of our family.

My very ill dog required surgery and then a week later a another surgery. Yes they are a busy office; but they did EVERYTHING possible to keep me updated and informed. My dog is very ill and the standard of care is above and beyond. My girl was bathed from being dirty, every visit she was clean, the back working area is tidy (my girl couldn't walk) they allowed and encouraged me to visit her in the kennel, Dr. Velasco is superior to any vet in care and compassion.

He treated my girl like she was his own! He never entertained the idea of giving up on her. Virgil was amazing with her and came in on his off day for my dog. The cost was very reasonable for all the care given to my baby! Thank you for caring for my Jill.

This doctor is a liar and a thief. My dog was not in heat and he said her ovaries were swollen. She hasn't bled for the last 2 months and isn't due for her next heat for another 3 months. His discounted price was 225. The voucher from the shelter covered 137. So he lied said she she was in heat and charged me another 73. do the math. This dr is as shady as they come. I will never be back. This hospital owes me 73 dollars.

Very fast and friendly staff. As busy as they were, they treated me and my dog amazing and made us feel comfortable. It was a Monday and the whole office was full of pets but they got me in and out as fast as they could. My dog is thankfully now on her way to recovery.

I have 2 dogs and went for their yearly checkup and to get their shots updated. Everyone was kind, friendly and very professional. Best place in the high desert.

Dr's are great, the tech care also fantastic. I also appreciate that I can get often get appointments same day in an emergency and that they do their best to fit you in. With that said, with or without an appointment, the wait times are long, super long. So come with your patience and a book to read.

Extremely caring staff! Even though it was very busy, they still saw my Yorkie! She was limping but OK now.

Took my dog there with same day appointment. Fixed my aging dogs ailments with one visit and lab work to for a very reasonable cost and they where very professional. The vet was informative and polite. Thanks for helping my dog. She is 100 percent better.

They clearly love their animal patients here. They allowed me to wait in the car when my dog was being seen for stitches. They cleaned up after her when she peed on the foor with no fuss. They treated her calmly, nicely, and with care and compassion. Thank you for turning a scary experience into a quick and easy procedure. She ended up spending the night and was good as new when we picked her up the next day.

I sat and listened to what other people were being charged and every single one was over $350.00. It was no surprise when my bill came to $378.00. It seemed like that was the minimum for each patient to cover the offices' overhead and staff, of which there were way too many. Five people working the front desk, plus three or four in the back. I'm on social security and that money was supposed to pay for food for the month.

I'll never go to a vet again. Some woman handed me the carrier containing my cat, gave me a bag of medicines and did not explain anything.she was apparently too busy because she just took off, leaving me in an extremely busy front office, with no one to help me. I took my cat and went home. I had no idea what any of it was for, so I looked everything up online, and my cat did not get ANY of the poisons they gave me.

I give him cooked oat bran in his food, and give him some shortening mixed with hairball remedy, and I grow oat grass for them, too. $35.00 for those medications. I threw them away. If my cats, who are getting older, get sick and fishmox doesn't help, or they don't get well on their own, then they will be put down.
