Our animal vet clinic is committed to providing the best possible care for Point Loma pets. Our veterinary team cares for dogs, cats, pocket pets, rabbits, birds, reptiles and small farm animals. We are lucky to have a number of experienced veterinarians practicing at Bayside Veterinary Hospital who specialize in care for different animals. Not all our veterinarians provide care for the same animals, however, so if you have a pocket pet, rabbit, bird, reptile or small farm animal, please call ahead to learn more about the veterinary care options that are available to you and your pet.

Unlike some big veterinary hospitals, our animal vet clinic has a relaxed, family-owned atmosphere that welcomes children, families and pets. Our comfortable environment will immediately put you and your pet at ease. And while our atmosphere may be relaxed, our approach to pet care is very serious. We are passionately committed to providing superior vet care services that feature the latest technology and diagnostic tools available to veterinary hospitals.

Dr. Rozsa believes prevention is truly the best treatment, and we encourage all pet owners to bring their pets in for an annual wellness check-up. This will also ensure we keep your pet up-to-date on vaccinations and receiving optimal nutrition care. We also provide spay neuter operations, deworming, and flea and tick prevention.

Our wellness approach goes beyond basic care. Our dental cleanings remove plaque and tartar from your pet's teeth, reducing the risk of gum disease and infection. Our dog groomer will keep your pet looking and feeling his or her best. We also have veterinary dermatologists on staff for the treatment of allergies and skin diseases in animals. We are one of the only San Diego veterinary hospitals to offer this important service to our pets.

In the event of an emergency, our animal hospital is equipped with the latest diagnostic technology to accurately diagnose and treat your pet. Bayside Veterinary Hospital is an open hospital, meaning that our veterinarians welcome all San Diego pets for any reason. In the event of an emergency, bring your pet directly to our animal hospital; if possible, please call ahead so we can have a veterinarian meet you upon arrival.

Dr Abby and the staff and absolutely wonderful. Thank you for taking such great care of our babies. We had to put my Cookie to sleep after a long hard battle with cancer. They cried with us and we are so grateful for everyone there that made this heart breaking experience a little bit easier.

After going to big vets like Banfield and another clinic off Palomar, I can't express the joy I felt when I found this place thanks to a friend and former coworker of mine who used to work here. As a pet owner on a budget, this place is literally a lifesaver. The staff is always wonderful to me and so helpful (I've been both during the week and the weekend) and I'm glad I made SBVet my new go-to.

I had a very pleasant experience here. Dr Deo was awesome! He stayed after hours to New Years Eve to perform surgery on my cat. My cat had an abscess after he was in a fight. He required drainage tubes & stitches. I picked my cat up the following morning, new years day mind you. This hospital & staff has went above & beyond! Exceeded my expectations & cared for my cat as only i would. Thank for everything!

Everyone is Wonderful. We have never had a bad experience. We can get same day appointments and if urgent, they willsee our pugs immediately. Service and treatment are outstanding

We Trust Bayside Veterinary Hospital and Dr Joseph to take care of our own pets. We would never hesitate to refer them to any of our clients. Jennifer runs the front office and she's amazing! Always remembers all of our doggies names. Thank you for taking such great care of our pets.

Dr. Rozsa and staff are the best. I have never experienced such warmth and compassion from a vet. Everyone treats you like family and your pets like their own. My dog and I always stop by and visit between exams. He loves them all! They're professional, organized, clean and it's clear they love what they do and all work together as a team.

I was extremely impressed with Dr. Rozsa and her her staff. They are beautiful with the pups, with many kisses and gentle talk to make them feeling loved and comforted. Explanations were very explicit and I had a thorough understanding of the treatments for Our Girls.
