Many pet owners look upon their pets as members of their families. We feel the same way. That's one reason why we understand that your trust in us adds up to a special responsibility. The Bay East Animal Hospital team pledges to act as advocates of the Human Animal Bond by dedicating ourselves to practicing high quality medicine, providing comfort and compassion for our patients, education and support for our clients and treat both as family. On the first Monday of each month, we are closed from 1:00pm - 2:00pm for a staff meeting.
Services
On behalf of the entire staff of Bay East Animal Hospital, we would like to welcome you to our website. Bay East has been open to serve the Green Bay community since 1966. We have had a long history of serving dogs, cats, and other animals, and we pride ourselves on providing the best care possible to our patients and clients.
At Bay East Animal Hospital we have a strong bond with our community and understand the importance of giving back. Not to mention the countless animals in need of love and medical attention rescued by our caring staff. We are proud to have a dedicated team that is committed to providing exceptional care to all the animals that find their way through our front door.
Kittens need lots of calories to grow, and plenty of fresh water. Until they are 4 months old, we recommend feeding at least two meals a day, giving as much as the animal will consume in a ten to fifteen minute feeding. Since cats tend to be grazers, it is ok to leave food out all of the time while they're kittens, and gradually get him or her accustomed to one to two meals a day after six months of age.
Usually, black spots on a dog's tongue are no more than pigment spots, also known as "freckles". If you notice a new spot, especially if it is raised, inflamed, or growing quickly, it is time to see your veterinarian. The surface of a cat's tongue is covered with small hook-like projections which work to help remove meat from bones as they eat, as well as acting as a grooming tool. No amount of brushing can keep a cat's fur as soft and clean as grooming itself with its tongue. Even indoor cats need heartworm protection.

I have been going to Bay East for years, since Dr Metzler. I absolutely trust Drs Eastman, Reidi, and Skaletski with my dogs. The entire staff helped me through putting my sweet dog to sleep last week. Thanks so much for the kindness.

From the Receptionist and Techs to the Doctors, these are professionals through and through! We have been working with these awesome caretakers for years and wouldn't trust the care of our furry children to anyone else.

For routine, preventative, and end of life care this is the vet to go to. Incredibly caring and professional staff that somehow make getting stuck with needles something our dog is excited about. They take all the time you need, and answer any questions in detail.

I recently took my GSD, Virgil, for his initial visit and I liked this establishment very much. I saw Dr Eastman and I was very pleased. She was knowledgeable and easy to talk to and although Virgil wasn't on his best behavior, he didn't want his temperature taken, he really seemed to like her. I don't a lot to add at the moment, but I was looking for a new bet and I think I've found it.

Very friendly and welcoming staff. Surprisingly clean for a vet. They answer phone calls quickly and can handle most situations within a few minutes. Easiest vet to work with in my experience.

My dog suddenly collapsed and I took him here. They told me they needed $2,500, and a minimum of $1,200 upfront to work on him. I didn't have that, so they said they could not help me. Luckily, a friend lent me the money. I was told my dog still might not survive. But he did survive. I brought him to a specialist, and they and my pet insurance tried to work out a plan so my insurer would cover the 10k-15k to try and save him. The process was ongoing, but my dog did not survive long enough. The specialist and my insurer tried their best, and cared. This place does not understand what caring means.

I have been going to this hospital for many years and have always found everyone there to be pleasant and so helpful. I am currently working with Dr. Eastman and she and her staff are so patient with my cat who is very nice to me but really really hates to go to the vet. They have the ability to get the job done in spite of fierce response from Matty and have maintained the health of the ten year old pet.

I found BayEast under an emergency situation for one of my dogs several years ago. I take my Golden's plus have used them for 2 fosters. Dr Roberta is our #1 doc but we have seen everyone else and 100 percent trust them as well. Dr Roberta goes above and beyond - she's super knowledgeable and aware of latest research. She's awesome with the dogs and patient with explaining to owners. The staff is amazing as well. Prompt with responses, polite, personable. I can't say enough about Bay East!

Definitely the best place to go. I'm new to the area, and very new to the pet care services in Green Bay and I searched high and low for the hospital with the best reviews and happy clientele. I'm grateful to go to a hospital where they are entirely transparent with the cost of procedures, and the health of my pet. The staff is friendly and courteous, and they have an excellent communications system.

They truly want the best for my pet, and treat every one of my concerns with respect and knowledge. I never feel belittled or talked-down-to. I also really appreciate their ability to text & confirm appointments through messages! This works great for me as I'm busy during the day and often unable to call in with questions or to schedule an appointment. Thank you for all you do!
