Baker's Bridge Veterinary Clinic is a well-established, full-service, small animal and exoitc veterinary hospital providing comprehensive medical, surgical and dental care. We provide a broad spectrum of diagnostic procedures through in-house testing and the use of external laboratories. We also work closely with local practices when special diagnostic procedures are required.
Because of the shorter lifespan of our pets, Baker's Bridge Veterinary Clinic stresses the importance of an annual physical examination. Thorough check-ups and preventive care can help alleviate serious health problems. Diagnostic and Therapeutic Services: Our hospital is equipped to provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to care for your pets' complete health care needs.
Jill is our head technician, chief ordering officer and general know-it-all. She grew up in Durango on the banks of the Animas River. She began working at BBVC in 1994, a short six months after the clinic opened. Jill enjoys canine agility, hiking, recreating at Lake Powell and about anything outdoors.
Albert is one of our clinic cats. He moved over here from Trimble Hot Springs in spring 2020. His favorite activities include stealing food off desks (especially tortilla chips), playing punk rock on YouTube, and giving high-fives. Lionheart was originally adopted by Dr. Marshall and moved over to the clinic shortly thereafter.

I have been coming to dr marshals veterinary since 2009. Since I've been coming to dr marshal I've only received the best most caring care for the 5 dogs and 5 cats I've brought to him over the years. Dr Marshal and the entire staff at bakers bridge veterinary clinic genuinely care for your animals. Every time I bring one of my fur babies in they all come out to great them.
They are pit bulls and this staff shows no fear or prejudice. I am always blown away at the love they receive there. As for pricing they have always come in on the low need of everything for me and even have worked up payment plans in time of crisis! We went through one of the hardest times in our lives. Our senior pittie jersey got bladder cancer. Dr Marshal fought it as hard as he could and bought her many many precious months!
The amount of love and caring from him and his staff have made me a client for life. I recommend bakers bridge vet to everyone I know and all my clients. There more than just your usual vet!

Our family has been going to Baker's Bridge for the past 5 years. We have been throughly impressed by the entire clinic's thoughtfulness, care, and kindness in regards to our 7 pets (4 dogs & 2 cats). Dr. Hamilton always takes her time and discusses options in regards to our dogs various digestive issues, hip issues, and overall care. Patty and the rest of the front desk girls are always so sweet when it comes to scheduling and picking up food.
There has been a handful of times when I had my two young kiddos with me during visits and one of the girls was always more than willing to come out and help me get the whole crew in the door. Morgan has a special bond with our old chocolate lab and knows she's very particular when it comes to other pets and people she is unfamiliar with, she's always right there, when Hannah has an appointment, to make sure that the appointment runs smoothly and that Hannah is as comfortable as possible. We have and will continue to refer any and everyone we know to Baker's Bridge. They treat us and our pets as family and for that, we are so grateful!

Self-admitted helicopter mom here: this practice is just WONDERFUL with our very difficult shiba inus. We have been very clear from day 1 that our boys are extremely nervous and one of them is rather bitey, and all of the vet techs and all of the veterinarians have been so gracious and so patient with them. We are so appreciative of their efforts, knowledge, and well informed treatment of our babies.
We have taken in both of our boys for misc treatments within a relatively short time span (because I am a helicopter parent) and they have taken care of every last one of our concerns. These dogs are not easy patients and we are very happy to have found such a competent veterinary practice to handle our very complicated fur family.

I took my cat in for routine dental cleaning. First issue was she was supposed to be ready between 1-3, and wasn't ready until after 5pm. Very hard to plan your work day when this happens, plus no phone call with updates, we had to keep calling. Then upon pick up I was told my bill was $970 when I was quoted under $300. They found 2 cracked teeth and never called during the procedure to inform me, or course I would consent, but this is something an owner she be called for!
The worst part was she was WAY over sedated and wouldn't drink for 48 hour nor eat for 72hrs and had major sedation shakes for 6 days! She wasn't back to normal for 6 days. I was an equine vet tech and I am no stranger to this field, we ALWAYS called an informed owners when there were changes. This was an awful experience for my sweet kitty and my husband and I.
Even one of their own Dr's told me she wouldn't have given her that much sedation when I called the next evening concerned. I did send an email with my dissatisfaction and got a very generic response of sorry you had a bad experience. So I did give them a chance. *Update, since there is no way to respond. I called back in to your office the next day because I was very concerned.
You did not call me to check in. Also, it's been over 2 weeks and she STILL has some sedation ticks, she has had other procedures at other offices and this has never happened.

I've been taking my dog and cat here for just about 5 years. They are always wonderful with my pets, my dog gets nervous when at the vet, Dr. Hamilton took the time to make sure she was calm and did her shots right there on the floor. When she was 2 she got a spontaneous collapsed lung, we rushed her to Bakers bridge and Dr. Marshall was so helpful going through our options and getting us a quick answer on what was wrong. I appreciate them!

Friendly and professional, they will show personal concern for your pets. I took my cat Wizard in to have him neutered, get his shots, have him wormed and cut his nails. I took him in at 9am. When the doctor finished with them, he called to let me know everything with fine and that I could pick him up after 2pm. Wizard was not impressed with the whole experience But I certainly was!
For all of the things I had done, The cost was very reasonable. I highly recommend Baker's Bridge Vet clinic! Wizard & I will certainly visit them on a regular basis when their services are needed. D. Maness

I love this place! They are the most caring loving understanding vet staff I have ever delt with. Even though its curb side service ( they come out and take your pet inside then bring them back out to you) I feel totally comfortable with my baby going without me because they show her love and make her feel comfortable with them. I couldn't ask for a better place to take my Paige.
