Fast and efficient, and best of all I could stay outside in my car while the staff came out, collected my cat's history, took her inside for her vaccinations and a stool test, and brought her back out. With omicron spreading, I and the cat had minimum exposure.

They don't even have equipment there to xray your dog. Therefore you are paying for 2 vets. I was so disappointed. Why would a vet not have the equipment needed for small animals. If you need xrays don't go. I think they are a good vet for large animal. I used them for years for horses. First time for my dog. Just disappointing. Still have the doors locked for covid. Other vets don't now, you can go in and be with your pet. Very impersonal

Noah has been the best. I have a gelding he and Noah have a understanding. Noah is very personable, tells you things without sugar coating and is amazing at his job. Thank you Noah

Dr. Suttenfield and the staff were absolutely wonderful to us. We recently ran into a situation where our elderly dog needed to be seen quickly, and our regular vet was not available. Appalachian Vet was able to get us in that morning, and then again the next morning when we realized our sweet pups time was up. They made room for us in their busy schedule, and treated us and our dog so wonderfully. They made us all so comfortable, and I cannot thank them enough for the kindness and compassion they showed our very upset family.

Great group of people with excellent service. All of the doctors have seen my horse at some point for routine, lameness, and even emergency exams and I have been nothing but pleased.

We brought our three dogs in for wellness exams and really enjoyed the experience from start to finish. The front desk staff is incredibly nice and helpful. They set the bar very high from the start. The vet we saw was extremely professional and kind. She answered every question we had and explained everything she was doing from beginning to end. You could tell she loves what she does and that just made the experience even better. We felt safe with our dogs in their hands and will definitely be back. I would recommend them to everyone.

After many years of not having a cat, my husband and I recently adopted a new kitten. Our biggest priority was finding a great vet in our area, since we are not from the NRV. We have been so blown away by Appalachian Veterinary Services. They are so kind, and you can tell their top priority is the animals. The Doctor even came out and met me at my car, since Covid protocols, and was extremely thorough and informative about a few things going on with our new kitten.

I appreciated their gentle yet direct communication. Also, they respond so quickly to email and make sure they get all of the information right to properly care for your pet. We are looking forward to taking our cat here for many years to come. I feel as if they go above and beyond in care and follow up. So grateful!

Appalachian veterinary clinic called them today very nice on the phone very helpful my two dogs are going to be their new client when you call this veterinarian clinic someone will answer it's not no recording they called my previous vet and got all the records sent over I look forward to taking my animals to them

I have always been so happy with Appalachian Veterinary and Sally Suttenfield and the other doctors that have seen my sweet dog. They are very thorough and talk over all the options. My dog loves them and never hesitates to go with them to be checked.

We've used Dr. Sally since bringing home our Golden Retriever, almost 4 years ago. They came highly recommended and I'm so glad to have this veterinary service in our lives. From the front office, to vet techs and of course Dr. Sally, herself, I've been impressed. I love how they love and take care of Basil and our cat, Clemson. I would recommend them 100%
