Let Animal Hospital of Streamwood provide professional care for your kitten, puppy, cat, or dog. A physical exam is the smartest and easiest way to keep your pet healthy. Wellness exams allow our veterinarians to detect problems and diseases that might go undiscovered otherwise, including heart murmurs, tumors, enlarged organs, cataracts, ear infections, ear mites, dental disease, skin issues and allergies.
At Animal Hospital of Streamwood, our goal is keeping your pet happy and healthy. Thanks to modern diagnostics and our on-site laboratory, we're able to do just that for sick and injured pets. Diagnostic imaging allows us to examine your pet's internal organs and body systems to better diagnose their conditions.
Dental care is an essential part of your pet's overall health. When oral hygiene is neglected, pets can develop dental disease which negatively affects other systems in the body and may lead to tooth loss. A pet's dental health is just as important as their physical health, however, it often goes overlooked.
We offer veterinary laser therapy for dogs. Laser therapy is a non-invasive holistic treatment used to speed up the body's natural healing process and relieve pain. It's a great option for post-op dogs, older dogs, and dogs living with chronic conditions like arthritis. Laser therapy uses deep penetrating beams of the light to alter cells and the tissue that surrounds them.

Our in-house pet pharmacy is stocked with parasite preventatives and prescription medications used to treat injuries and illnesses of all kinds. Our top priority is your pet's safety. At Animal Hospital of Streamwood, the prescription medications we carry and sell are purchased directly from the manufacturers. You know exactly what you're getting and we are available to answer any questions.

Horrible customer service, I called one morning because my dog had emergency needs. I was passed off to a manager after expressing my needs. I had just got a new job and that I didn't have a lot in my name since being unemployed last month. She told me I couldn't get a quote over the phone and I was understanding. I was willing to do the exam for a quote for the rest of the services he would need but she just get repeating that she wouldn't give a quote over the phone.
She clearly couldn't keep her bearing and seemed like she can't function without coffee, whoever she was. She wished me a nice day after being so rude to me, this is not friendly service and she should really learn to be more professional. I highly recommend looking elsewhere for your pet care needs, it may be close but it is not worth the treatment I received over the phone.
I was already warned by most of the groomers in the area about this Animal Hospital being overpriced but I was willing to pay because it was close and the Dr. seemed caring, but after this morning I think I will ensure friends, family, and neighbors will be referred elsewhere.

Don't go to Animinal Hospital of Streamwood. I went to take my dog to the vet. I have a cold, been vaccinated and have a mask. They refused to see my dog even though they do curbside. It was already a 2 week waiting list to get the dog in for shots and the poor dog is stressed from the car ride. On top that I talked to this person the day before and they said anything about my cold.
Place they just wanted to keep adding on services. They no longer have eving hours so you can only going during the day. It's that time of year that people just get colds or have allergies? Now you can't cough or sneeze without someone freaking out and asking if you were tested for covid.

My dog needed emergency treatment, not only the vet made time to see us, she understood our financial situation in times like this and gave us a very generous discount. I'm impress by their good heart, genuinely concern for my dog and my safety as well as their excellent service provided. Thank you.

Animal Hospital of Streamwood is amazing. Dr. Getty and her staff are always kind and empathetic. You know they just care about the wellbeing of your fur baby. My fur kids have been patients there for the last five years and I will never go anywhere else for my general veterinary needs. They even have extended hours a couple days each week to help folks with their work schedules. I just adore them. Thank you for always taking great care of my family!

Our fur babies have been seeing these vets for years!
Tiger, a 17 year tabby, that started seeing these vets as as kitten. He had urinary stones problems that were managed wonderfully. He was put down in 1999 from cancer. Buddy, my 17 year old terrier/sheltie mix was cared for wonderfully! from puppy to senior and when I put him down because a new onset if seizures at 17 years in 2096.
They stayed that night for hours as I cried over loosing my best friend. A few months ago I adopted a 3 year old calico with cerebellar hypoplasia.They welcomed her with open loving arms. Through the years I WE have listened open mindedly, whole heartedly, with compassion and caring to provide the best healthy life for my fur babies. I only remember a few names from over the years-Dr Bobbie, Dr Margaret, Dr Stefan(?)-and recently Dr Navrosky ,Dr Getty, and Racheal. there are many other wonderful faces. Animal Hospital of Streamwood is and always will be my choice for Veterinary Care.

Brought my dog here for the first time today and the staff was amazing. They were able to see me on short notice and calmed me and my dog down during a scary illness situation. Sean and Dr. Taylor answered all of my questions and took the time to make sure I was comfortable with the course of treatment and pricing. I found their prices to be very reasonable compared to our previous vet. So glad this great facility is close by!

These folks are some of the most genuine people I have ever met. We switched many years ago when my dad recommended them. I will always keep bringing my furrkids here! They are professional, prompt and have helped my cats through the years. My dad brought his dogs here and even through the most difficult times they couldn't have shown more kindness and caring.
