A ten week old female boxer puppy named Aurora was brought to AEH because she didn't want to eat. She was quiet and was having vomiting and diarrhea. She had received her first puppy shots. Aurora tested positive for Parvovirus. AEH provided intensive hospital care for Aurora for five days. Soon her sad eyes turned bright and her tail began to wag again.
He was near death. He is now doing fine and we can't thank you all enough! We left at 2:00am and he has recovered. God bless you guys and the animals and owners you help. We are so grateful to you girls for being so kind to us and our dog "Lily" the black Yorkie Poo. She's our baby and we feel you saved her life.

My 5 month old pup broke his leg and my first visit was great, they got him stable, X-rays and casted fast and the vet tech was great. Told me to come back to get the pup casted in a week, and when I returned it was a different vet as they have many. She was rude and told me to find someone else to do it, after I was told to come back to get it changed.

As it is, having a furry friend is expensive. Even more so when you have an emergency. We had the unthinkable happen this week. Our kitty, Douglas, started acting funny this week. He was very sick. I was greeted at the door and was checked right in. He was taken right back and checked over. They took his history and took me back in a room while I waited for the Dr to come in.

They suggested an x-ray and blood work to start. We were looking for something that would give us hope. We ended up getting bad news. All of our options were laid out before us. They gave us all the time we needed with our kitty with the choice we chose for him. They treated him and us with the utmost respect and choices for him. We were given the option to be with him as they ended his life. All respect for this group of people and their caring treatment of our pet.

They did not have experience to help a dog that was in a house fire. They did not offer an antibiotic. They only sent me home with a steroid and literally said the coughing was not related to the house fire, even though both dogs sounded the same and never had a problem before. After Googling, imagine that, it said a dog from smoke inhalation needs oxygen and antibiotics to ward off pneumonia.

I had to call back 3 days later when she wasn't getting better and quote Google, and ask for an antibiotic. She is finally getting better. It was so hard getting the correct care from any place near me I made many calls to different vets. We lost one dog because we did not get good advice from Heritage either.

If you love your pet at all do not use this place! We took our puppy in for choking and he was making a loud clicking noise and gagging because we thought he ate a plastic buckle on a Sunday and I rushed him to the closest place to me. $400 and an X-ray later they say to make him vomit or spend $5000 on a surgery tomorrow or go to another hospital because they were closing in 3 hours mind you I got there at 1:30pm and they didn't do anything till after 5. $105 for an exam they didn't even do!

They were turning people away 3 hours before they closed. Next day our normal vet finds the plastic buckle wedged up in his gum under his tooth. $180 surgery to get it done. He was in pain for days because of this place! This place is a joke and they do not care about your pet! Wish I could give zero stars!

Our Australian Shepherd, Daisy needed emergency surgery after her paw was caught and damaged by a reclining chair. This facility and their staff did a remarkable job. Daisy is recovering nicely and our vet said they did a great job. We are so grateful for their services and the compassion they displayed. Thank you each and every one for your kindness in helping our sweet heart.

Worst experience ive ever had with any kind of vet. My baby got her arm stuck in the pivot of our dryer door on thanksgiving. We rushes her in only to be charged $400 between examination and X-rays. They proceeded to tell us she cut off her circulation and to just take her home, if circulation didn't return to take her to a surgical center for amputation.

Base their fee is $105 for examination, which clearly they didn't do because she had a massive gash they didn't even see or chose not to tell me about. In the past two days it has swelled to double the size of her other arms all the way up to her joint. They prescribed her what they told me was a pain medication but once we looked into it we received a sedative with MILD pain relievers.

Please do not put your babies life in their hands you're better off waiting until theirs a real vet available. Don't trust them and always look into what they give you and tell you because chances are its a half truth! We spent all the money we had for her on this miserable place for no help and no recommendations on where to go next or what to do.

They also claim to offer financing options but when you reach that point they expect full payment up front the only other option is care credit. You may think getting help fast is most important like we did, but finding a good veterinarian who will be honest and look out for your pets best interest not their own is what we needed. Don't waste your money here thats all they want we wasted four hours and $400 when she could've been at a hospital getting proper care.

We had our first emergency with our Dane puppy, and honestly I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I was warmly greeted upon arrival and Rambo was taken right back. Once the doctor got to look at him he talked to me about possibilities and any concerns. I was given pricing before anything was done, which was wonderful. They took great care of my baby, got his leg splinted up, and told me to call with any questions. The staff at the front desk helped me get him back in my car as well. Everyone was wonderful. Thank you for taking such great care of our pup.

We were in desperate need of emergency care for our dog Tucker. We called every place in our area and they were the only ones that were available. Our experience was amazing from start to finish! With lack of staff like everywhere right now they still did there best and got us in and out so quickly. He is now back on his feet and healing so well. Thank you for your team, we are so grateful!

The staff and vet at Animal Emergency Hospital are all very kind, compassionate, knowledgeable, honest, and patient. We took our beloved cat in today due to labored breathing and lethargy and tried to prepare ourselves for the worst. The staff were very friendly upon our arrival and attended to our cat immediately. We had to make the extremely difficult decision of euthanasia and were given compassion and as much time as we wanted/ needed to say goodbye.

Our grief will continue but we are so grateful for the way we were all treated during this difficult time. We will definitely return for any emergent pet needs in the future.

Our family cat had an open wound on the weekend and so this clinic was our only option to have him seen quickly to get diagnosed and treated. Saying it was a horrible experience is an understatement. My mother took him in around 10 AM and waited for over an hour and a half for him to be seen. Which might be understandable except that he was then left in the clinic for over 9 hours and no treatment was administered (he needed an infected wound tissue removal, cleaned and stitched).

We ended up picking him up as it was getting late. Will just take him to a our vet in the morning. Imagine having to wait for so long away from your family, under such painful conditions and in the end not even get helped. Any fur-baby would have increased anxiety and stress. This is inhumane. Save your time, energy and stress. Do not take your pets here.
