I took my 10yr old Australian Cattle dog to this vet. In clallam there are no er vets open late or on the weekend. I didn't know what was wrong with my dog and took her there after I spoke with them. After some testing we found out she had eaten rat poisoning and was near death. She ended up needing plasma and a blood transfusion, they took very good care of my dog and kept me informed over night through text and photos.

All of my questions were answered if not immediate they would call or text with information. Any follow-up questions I had after my dog was discharged we answered in a timely matter and very informative. My dog is doing much better now and is on the journey to a full recovery. I'm very glad I chose to take my dog to this facility, thank you again for saving my dogs life!

Excellent and expedient care for our poor pup that got ahold of some rat poison. Great communication and care planning. Not the first time we have had to visit with one of our pets. They truly treat our furry family members like they were one of their own.

Our cat, Sam spent several days here. The communication was excellent. I was able to speak with a vet every time I called to check on him, and I even got a follow up call after he came home just to make sure he was doing OK. They also communicated with my regular vet so that they could provide proper continuing care. It's a trauma center, so it's not cheap, but the prices are comparable to what I've paid at other emergency vets.

They were upfront about costs (including the long term costs of caring for Sam if they treated him). I hope I don't need an emergency vet again, but if I do, I will definitely go back to Animal Emergency and Trauma Center.

Though my pet's outcome was not what I had hoped and my sweet Daisy passed away I am truly grateful for the care she received to try and save her life. Unfortunately the infection was too much. It is sad that resources for vets with urgent care are so unavailable. I personally drove 3 hours to receive care for my dog because of limited care. I am grateful for the nurse that sent me her picture right before she passed as I was so far away. My heart is broken but I am still grateful. Fly high my sweet Daisy.

This hospital took excellent care of Remington when she was sick! Very attentive to my calls and texts messages asking for updates. They sent pictures of her daily to me. Professional group of people, during a very stressful time for us. Thank you!

I brought my male cat in for a possible urinary tract blockage. The staff treated us so incredibly well! They gave the best information and were so sweet with my precious boy. They took care of my moms cat before he passed and were just as graceful then in such a hard time. They truly care about you and your fur babies. What a wonderful experience during such a scary time.

The Vets, technicians and reception staff were just wonderful while caring for my dog. He was a tough diagnosis and they made sure to eliminate all of the potential issues. My pet stayed there for 3 days and every time I called for an update, I received warm and empathetic responses. The Vet on duty was there for me to ask questions and explained everything so that I could understand regardless of the time. Definitely a keeper.

The care for my dog was great. The problems I experienced was with the front desk staff. After transporting my dog from another facility (which treated my dog, but couldn't provide care after 7 pm) I was made to wait and in-process my dog even though the other facility sent all the information for my dog via email and I hand carried a copy also. This took 25 minutes in which time I provided them my contact phone number.

I was then told I could leave, just to be stopped by the front desk employee (Alex) and told I would need to wait in case the on duty Veterinarian needed anything from me. I asked what they would need from me that could not be given over a phone call and was told "I don't know ". I explained that I had a 2 year old in the car who was hungry and also the fact that I lived over an hour and a half away.

I was made to wait 45 more minutes just to find out from my parents that the Veterinarian had briefed them on the status of my dog. My parents informed the Veterinarian that he should call me, but that never happened. The front desk employee (Alex) could see me sitting in my vehicle 20 feet away and never contacted me as to the status of my dog. After receiving the information about my dog from my parents I re-entered the facility to ask the front desk employee (Alex) why I was not contacted or notified about the status of my dog.

I was told "oh I'm sorry, I thought I saved your contact information in the system". The strange thing is that when they wanted my payment information, they were sure able to locate my contact information.

This was one of the best veterinary emergency room experiences I have had. Compassionate, informative and knowledgeable staff made everything about the visit outstanding. I felt 100% confident and comfortable leaving my dog with them for overnight treatment. The online checkin allows you to wait at home until your turn is up. This is the best idea ever! I would recommend them to anyone who has an animal emergency in Kitsap County.

I wasn't sure about Online Registration at first. I've learned that it is a great way to get in line, provide detailed information to help staff triage your pet, and wait in the comfort of your home for a text or call to bring your pet in to be seen by the doc. Docs were thorough yet reasonable with their recommendations. Our little guy has been admitted and we are hoping for the best. We are also confident he will receive expert care. Thank you.
