Services
You work hard to ensure that your furry family member has the best possible life. That's why partnering with a veterinary provider who genuinely cares for you both is so important. At Animal Care Center of Pasco County, we are proud to offer a comprehensive range of services to address your pet's specific veterinary needs.
Heather has worked in the veterinary field for over 25 years. She started her career at Animal Care Center as a veterinary technician in 1997 and quickly realized that human resources was her passion. She has dedicated her veterinary career to the betterment of client and patient care, always striving to exceed client and patient experiences.
Preventative or general wellness care means a proactive approach to medicine. Ideally, problems are caught before they become more serious - and more expensive - and it frees you and your pet to spend your time doing what you really want to do: enjoy each other's company and unconditional love. At Animal Care Center of Pasco County, we cherish the opportunity we have to nourish and care for pets over the course of a lifetime. We pamper our puppy and kitten patients, adore our adults, and celebrate our seniors.
Vaccinating your pet is a relatively inexpensive but essential way to protect his or her health. In addition to preventing many life-threatening illnesses, vaccinations can prevent diseases prevalent in wildlife and those that can be passed to humans. It's important to administer vaccinations when pets are puppies and kittens because their young immune systems are still developing and need protection to stay healthy. While any medical treatment involves some degree of risk, in the case of vaccinations, the benefits far outweigh any potential side effects.

We had never been to this office before. After coming home from work and finding my best friend had passed away while I was gone, we started frantically looking for a vet that was still open for the night. They told us that as long as we could be there soon, they'd wait for us. Our tech and staff were extremely kind, considerate and patient with me as I was a complete wreck.

I can't thank them enough. We picked up Zoey's ashes and clay / foam paw print yesterday to also find they took ink paw prints, a nose boop, some wild flower seeds and a lock of fur. We found them by chance, but are incredibly greatfull for the compassion of the staff.

Your pets will be know by name here. I cannot find the words to describe just how confident I am with Dr. Griffin and his staff. The knowledge they have is only the beginning. They provide care with the utmost tenderness and care. You will not be over charged or receive any unnecessary care. This is A+ all the way.

I cannot begin to thank Dr. Griffin and the amazing staff here for their kindness and will to help. I am new to the area and had not established a regular vet in the area as of yet before a pup I was fostering had a medical emergency and needed to be seen ASAP. Without hesitation, the staff here and Dr. Griffin allowed us to come in and be seen/treated as emergency without question.

During the process all the receptionist, vet techs, and client care went above and beyond helping us. With this being said, I am moving my other two dogs here as their regular vet for wellness exams and any other needs and cannot wait to have a vet as eager and willing as Animal Care Center of Pasco County. Thank you again!

Dr. Maldonado and his staff are extremely accommodating, friendly, and take their work seriously. I brought a 4-month-old tortoise in who was very sick and he took the best care of her possible. He did everything in his power to make her comfortable and to care for her. They squeezed me in last minute for fluid injections and tube feedings each week, even if they were beyond busy.

I will never forget the care they took of her. Unfortunately, she did pass away, but they did everything they could for her. This is one of the best vet offices I've been to in a long time, and I won't ever go anywhere else for exotic pets. Thank you so much Dr. Maldonado and all the vet techs, I don't know what I would have done without this office.

We called, never been there before. Got us in same day. Seen Dr. Brownell. Very satisfied with her. Took time with checking Mia over and explained everything to us. Wanted us to call back on Mon. morning to see how she's doing. Would definitely go back.

My female cat, Sheba, was very sick due to kidney disease. I called in the morning & was seen at 10:00. The staff is kind & compassionate & gave me all the time I needed to say my goodbye to her. I recommend them highly.

We have taken all our pets to Animal Care Center for years and years, and I love this place. The doctors are all kind, caring, compassionate, and I trust every one of them with our furbabies. The office staff and techs are wonderful, too.

I can't thank this place enough for taking care of my iguana, Iggy, these last couple of weeks for her tail rot. The staff and Dr. Maldonado were incredibly helpful and compassionate. Will definitely be making this my primary vet from now on. Thanks!

Love the doctor but their communication and staff sucks. Made an appointment TWO WEEKS AGO to get there and be told "we don't have a doctor here and there's no more appointments today." Then when I ask why I wasn't notified they LIE to me and tell me they don't have a contact number. After leaving with no consideration to me driving over an hour just to see them, not even 5 minutes later my mother gets a call trying to reschedule MY DOG.

What happened to you not having a contact number? Very unsatisfied with todays experience. Doctor Roberts is amazing and would love to keep seeing her, but this wasn't professional at all.
