Called today because my dog was showing extremely scary signs of choking. The girl who answered said "the doctor is going on lunch soon so he can't help" Hope the food was good. So glad we stopped going to this place, this just reinforced our decision.

Amazing staff! They always go above and beyond. They truly care for the animals they see. Will always suggest them to anyone that brings up bad vet experiences to me in conversation. They're open 7 days a week too, with no additional costs for weekend appointments.

The staff was amazing! First time going there was able to get a same day sick appointment for my 15 year old dog. After trying for 2 days to get into my own vet and wasn't able to Animal Hospital of Chesterfield staff and physician treated me and him with kindness and understanding. While unfortunately I had to say good bye to long time companion, they handled us like family. I highly recommend them.

Great service, staff, and vets. Would recommend to anyone looking for a good vet. We had to switch vets and are happy we did. Prefer this place over Wilson's (although not a bad vet) just receive better care of their patients/customers here.

$403 for a checkup on a single dog with kennel cough. You can come here if you enjoy lighting your money on fire. I took all three of my dogs to the emergency vet (willsons) last week. It cost less than 300 for all three dogs. Canceling my appointments for my other dogs checkups. Won't be back. It's not even like this is that great of a vet.

Unfortunately on 5-5-22 I had to bring my boy here to see what was the matter with him. They fit me us in so we wouldn't have to deal with the emergency mess. He wound up having the cancer and would not be coming home. The staff brought him pizza and made it as best as possible for what the day turned out to be. Thank you all for your honesty and your feelings toward my doggie!

My dog Wilbur has been there several times in the last three weeks. We had to take him there last minute last night 10 minutes before they closed and the Doctor and her staff were extremely exceptional, kind and compassionate. They even stayed an extra hour and a half after they closed just to help us and Wilbur out. I cannot say enough great things about them. All of the Doctors that he has seen are AMAZING! THANK YOU again for everything.

Walked in and it smelled like a candle factory and the music was so loud I cannot believe animals would enjoy those two things alone. The tech and one of the front desk people were those who cut you off while you're talking. I have run into this so much lately. Tired of it. The woman veterinarian was fine. I won't be back. Unprofessional is how I would put it.

My dog Lilo has had to have two surgeries and the staff have been wonderful to her. the surgeries have been done to perfection and the staff has done everything to make her recovery as smooth as possible. she had only been twice before and the staff recognized her and greeted her with excited voices when she had to be seen for her second acl injury. this place is so wonderful, every interaction from visits to picking up meds has been great.

These guys are great! Always very friendly and happy to see my dog, Whiskey the Irish Terrier . We've been seeing the Vets at the Animal Hospital and have been using the tree lodge pet resort for about 5yrs now. The dog groomer Heather is also awesome to work with and does a great job

They were wonderful. Compassionate understanding and caring! Would recommend to anyone. I had to put my Rottie Simba down.

Dr. Balfe is the kindest and most compassionate vet I have ever come across. The care she provided my 20 year cat Abby, and the compassion she showed me as I had to make the hardest decision is unparalleled. Veterinarian work is incredibly taxing, but Dr. Balfe does it with such grace and kindness. I cannot recommend AHOC enough.

After several years as a client we had an emergency with older dog. Called to get an appointment to which they agreed. Then, came in and they wanted to charge a $100 "fit in" fee!? Dog was in critical condition and this is the treatment they gave! Front desk woman was extremely rude. They denied that we even called.to which we gave the person's name (how would we know that if we didn't call?). THIS PLACE IS HORRIBLE - We had an emergency with a critical status animal and this is the way we were treated! GO TO ANOTHER HOSPITAL WHERE THEY HAVE SOME COMPASSION!

We had to put our dog down later in the evening after going all the way to Wilson Hospital in Washington Twp. Thanks for the compassion and treatment we received from them! AHoC, take Lulu off your patient list as she is no longer with us. By appearances of other reviews, the front desk person should be released!

Only 2 visits but so far seems to be Very Warm and Welcoming. Dr. Mark Hackel is Outstanding, and its Nice to meet a Vet that's not Scared of a dog because of his breed.

I had a wonderful experience with my 1st pet but but a terrible one with my 2nd. I called inquiring about services. The receptionist was rude and condescending about the cost of my treatment. Will never be taking another pet back here again.

I've been taking my Paisley baby here for almost 2 years now and I'm very pleased with how they treat my dog. They always seem so caring and want to do whatever is best for her. I've recently been getting Dr. Balfe the past few times and I absolutely love her. Shes very nice, informative and answers all my questions that I have. It's also nice that her dog and my dog are similar so we can relate to that!

Dr Murphy and staff are wonderful! A few years ago we switched to the Animal Hospital of Chesterfield from a different vet and are so glad we did. When it came time to lay our family dog to rest, they provided love and compassion during such a difficult time. The staff was soft spoken and shared in our grief. The procedure was very peaceful and we were able to be with our furry friend the entire time. I highly recommend the Animal Hospital of Chesterfield and will definitely bring any future pets here!
