Services
We offer care for your equine family members as well as for your dogs and cats. We provide a range of services to breeders, stables, and those who keep horses at their homes commonly referred to as backyard horses. While most of our equine patients are show or performance horses, we also see many pleasure horses.
Laser therapy is an effective, proven, pain free treatment option for our clients who want to ease their pet's pain and inflammation. Laser therapy can be applied in the treatment of many conditions including arthritic joints, chronic ear infections, post-operative pain management, and dental inflammation.
At Southwest Florida Veterinary Specialists, we offer diagnostics and treatment of a wide variety of orthopedic problems, from fractures to pelvic disease. Led by Dr. Richard Hall D.V.M., who has more than 30 years of experience practicing advanced orthopedics, our staff will take the utmost care of your injured or ailing dog or cat.
Dental care for your pets is just as important as it is for humans. Services include preventative measures, such as annual cleanings, as well as treatments for injuries or cancerous growths. Our staff is equipped and trained to perform oral and facial surgeries, extractions, root canals, periodontal care, and orthodontics.

I cannot thank them enough. We moved here in June of 2021 and our little girl just turned 14. She was heathy one day and within a span of 2 hours she went from bad to extremity bad. I could not stand to see her suffer like she was and Thank God they helped her be at peace. She will be missed. Thank you for being what you were trained to be, compassionate, caring and going above and beyond for a stranger.

What a wonderful veterinarian office/hospital! Dr. Knight was so nice and very caring and knowledgeable. Cassie the tech (I think that was her name), she was so sweet and kind two both Jackie and Annie, and my sister and I. She has the patience of a saint! Prices were very reasonable, the lobby and waiting area was spacious and clean and new. And they even had a bathroom for us humans.

The staff is always very friendly, and they are great at fitting you in same day. I feel like the veterinarians always take what I have to say seriously and work with me to determined the best care. We use them for our dogs annuals, any emergency, grooming needs, and surgery on our pups. We started here two+ years ago on a recommendation and now we recommend them to everyone. Being open on Saturday's is a huge plus!

BUYER BEWARE! Paid their very high prices for all 6 of my animals for 4 years. All they ever tried to do was to upsell you or give 5 reasons to bring them back several times. When you had a true emergency they were never available or did not have the services needed to care for your pet. All they ever want to do is high dollar canine dentistry. Call the Doc on his cell for emergency he might call back 3 days later. They just want the easy high profit treatments. BUYER BEWARE!

I am happy to give 5 stars to them! Having recently relocated from California, I had no clue where to take my critters. First, my cat developed a respiratory infection and when I called for an appointment, they basically were going to work me in that afternoon, but then called back to say they'd had an earlier cancellation, and wanted to see him asap because it was a breathing issue.
The doctor and all staff could not have been kinder or more helpful. Happy to report, my cat is back to his ramoaging self. Had to take my dog in for a recurring ear issue, and the staff got me an appointment that morning, and she's happily on the road to recovery. This place is professional, obsessively clean, friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend them.

Dr. Hall and staff are amazing. They provide excellent care for our two dogs. When our puppy was injured, I was able to get him seen early the following morning and was in and out so quickly. If you have a puppy, they have a package deal available, making it so affordable. They love our babies like we do. When our older dog was ready to cross the Rainbow Bridge, the staff there was with us the whole time. Their care and compassion makes you realize that they take this as more than just a "job". They have a genuine love for animals.
